what rear gears???
Say guys how do i tell which rear end i have? I know most standard wheel trucks were 3.73's but could mine have a 4.10? Just wondering how i could verify this. Thanks!!

not sure how many f250 came with 4.10.. but you can verify it by looking at the metal tag on your rear diff....

That link only goes up to 2002.......
There is a sticker on the inside of the drivers door that gives you the code for the axle. I am looking for the reference chart because I have been wondering what mine is as well. I haven't found it yet. |

well thanks for the links! It should work for mine cause its a 2001. I will check these numbers out tomorrow and see what i have.

ah no worries. I think someone did post a bunch of numbers on the rear axles. I just wouldn't know where to start lookin. It could be anywhere. Say can't we just type in our VIN number on a certain website and it'll tell ya all the info about your rig? I can't remember where that is though. Now i'm gonna have to try and find it.
