It won't be noticeable driving..but it will help get more air into the AFE. Besides, being a free mod, why not try!

you will see some minimal gains -- it can only help and will lower EGT's!

Not totally sure about the 7.3s...but the factory boxes on the 6.0s are not bad....But anything that will help get more air into either a factory or aftermarket box WILL help. More air means better combustion and more air in means cooler air going through the turbo.

Yes with a factory intake you will defintely see a seat of the pants difference, just make sure you trim the rubber flap out of the way at the top. I drilled a series of small holes very close to each other in order to keep debri out. I also suggest is getting rid of the highly restrictive muffler, it necks down a 3.5" exhaust to 2.5" and then throws it through an offset muffler. Backpressure is good on a gasser not a diesel!! Just go straight pipe, or like I did with the Walker BTM muffler, my EGT's dropped 100-150 degrees between the AIS/Zoodad/BTM combo, more air in means more air needs to get out!!!
