ya you gotta pull the intake spyder out.
it was probably heat and time that torqued your bolts down haha
i felt the same way when i had to pull my turbo to do up pipes.
i put some anti seize on the bolts so when i need to pull the trubo again it will come out .
Pull the intake spyder, remove the turbo hold down bolts, twist the turbo a little, and pull it right out. It is not very hard to do at all.
