edge tuner and mounts?
Which edge should I get? I like the idea of on the fly. The backup camera is also huge. This is going in a 99 superduty. I mostly tow a 4500 pound boat.I'm looking for more power and better fuel economy.I'm looking for some photos of edge tuners installed. Do they have only 1 mount? Any customs? Thanks

I have an Edge Evolution CTS on my 06 Lariat CC. I bought the dash mount with the needed adapter. The dash mount is very basic it requires a lot of work by the owner. I think Edge could invest a little more engineering time in their mounting scheme. Mine is still mounted to the windshield. At least with thw windshied mount you can angle the unit to face you. When I find a clean way of using their dash mount ( gonna take some modification) I'll do it. If it comes out good I'll post photos. It has to look clean or I'll just keep it on the windshield

Re: edge tuner and mounts?
We have an Edge Evolution in our Excursion. It was there when we got it and I do not like it. By compairison to the DP Tuners I have in my trucks the edge is inferior. The DP does a much bettet job of helping the trans shift properly with the added power.
The only good thing I will say about the edge is that it can provide the needed gauge functions in a compact clean dash mounted display. Ours is mounted in a dash mounted pod. Sent from my SCH-I200 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |
