U-Joint Info ?

I have a 2002 F350 7.3L PU with 2x4 drive Auto Trans , SuperCab W/ the 96" bed. Does anyone know what U-Joints are on my truck , I would like to install the strongest one's available. That is of course if they can be upgraded. Their are 3 U-Joints That I can see. I called DTS to order some replacements and the Tech said there were at least 6 different kinds. I would like to order them without having to call the Dealer w/ my VIN #. Anybody know the specific part #'s and description I need for each unit ? Thanks...

this is funny because when i got mine a month or two ago the parts guy took forever to find the right ones and comes back and says he feels dumb. they all have the same part # just diffrent amount's. mine takes three there's some that take 4? and other's take just two. i dont know how smart this guy was but mine fit. napa has some brute strength(i think is the name) that are supposed to super strong. another high end joint is strange or moser. good luck and any one feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

IMO those u joints in proper working condition (the stock ones) are actually stronger than the weakest points of the driveline itself, so IMO upgrading is not needed. Also, Factory non greasable u joints on average last about twice as long as the aftermarket greasables....just something to think about...
