2012 20" Lariat Wheels & Tires on Excursion - Thoughts
Well long story short I recently picked up a low mileage 2003 Excursion 7.3 that has a 3" lift/level kit w/ Fox Shox, 16" wheels and 315/75/R16 tires. Tires and shocks are shot and need to be replaced and the wheels are NOT attractive to me at all.
So after looking at some aftermarket wheels/tires and their costs, I am leaning toward buying a set of 2012 20" Lariat wheels with the Michelan 275/65/R20s instead. I understand that I will need wheel spacers (found quality steel ones) and am wondering what everyone thinks about this.
Has anyone else swapped to the 2011+ wheels?
Anyone see or know of any potential problems with this as far as performance/function goes?
I appreciate everyones response and if anyone has any pictures of theirs they would be willing to share that would be GREATLY appreciated.
