Door switch maybe?

2003 7.3 Super Cab.

When I open the drivers door most of the time my dome light doesn't come on. If I move the steering wheel side to side most of the time i will hear a click sound and the dome light illuminates. Also when getting out of the truck the radio time display won't turn off until the GEM shuts it off in 10 minutes. Everything works normally when I open the passenger door.

I have tried spraying WD 40 and PB blaster into the switch but it still works intermittently. Thanks for any help diagnosing.

Mine is the opposite. The passenger side 3rd door doesn't hit the sensor right and leaves the dome light on until I start driving... I live with it now.
