Dont let the FCC Police know. Besides, when running high wattage on a CB with an amplifier, youre actually cooking the most conductive parts of your (everybody around you included) body (ie: brain, eyeballs, testicles, etc). Why not get your Ham Radio cert?

I apologize for not replying sooner I'm in the "sand box" Well I have been researching HHO whether or not some agree that it does or does not work. I was going to be hooking a system up to my truck and going to be making 4-8lpm with an on demand system. Now I only asked how much does this truck use because I don’t want to overload the system and nowhere on Google does it really say i.e. with the truck on and all stock lights and accessories it uses 100 Amps? Random number and from AutoZone it says that stock alternator goes up to 150amps. I know that the PMW system for HHO uses 40amps continually with the truck on.

So I was just trying to figure with night time driving and an HHO will I run into problems or would I be well within limits. I have come to find out that those who use HHO never get it chipped or any electrical maff map devices installed. Anyways that a new post in itself but that’s why I asked how much our truck uses with all accessories on. I don’t need a 300 amp well possible I don’t know. But I might need a 200 amp that’s where you pro’s come in handy!

Every time fuel prices go up this HHO sillyness starts-up again

IMHO, it's "silly" on anything but especially for us because of the split-shot injection....

This is why I avoided bringing up HHO I don’t do this for fuel prices I believe in alternative fuel sources and I want to test it. Regardless still not sure how many amps truck uses with all stock components? But there is still some great info here. Anyone know of a reference I can look for in regards to how many amps our truck uses?

When it comes to dual alt I'm still looking into that to see if it’s a better/easier setup.

Thank you!

If you have an amp clamp and a buddy with you then you can find out yourself. Put the amp clamp on the output of the alternator and have someone in the cab flick on high beams, hazards, wipers/washer pump etc...while engine is at idle.
