I have the dp tuner on my 02 and run it on the 80 hp economy setting with no trans or engine supporting mods. If I mash it to the floor till about 60 or 70 mph will i hurt the engine or the trans any.

no it should but sooner or later it will get to your trans...

ok cuz i raced a transam on 80 hp and i thot i might of pushed it a little to hard

no it won't hurt the engine at all... but on the safe side I would do something with the tranny soon before it does go out... a buddy of mine has injectors instead of a chip (90hp) and he has put two different trannys in... i think because he just had it rebuilt the same as the factory and then finally got smart enough and figured out that wouldn't cut it...

I beat him off the line for the first 40 to 50 yards and then he fianly got some traction and whooped my azz.but its not stock we were driving around 40mph talkin at the window and i told him to punch it and it broke both tire loose so it was pretty sweet car.
