How many people...

To all of yall out there who have chipped your truck...

Who has noticed that your truck actually ran better and shifted better etc. I have been thinking about T Wildman or DP for my 99. possibly for Christmas

if I was you southern7.3 i would go with tony instead of dp... and you ask well from what i have read and been told they are pretty much the same tunes... but Tony will reburn ur chip for free down the road if you happen to get different injectors, turbo, water/meth, etc... :burnout unlike tony, dp will not you will have to pay again and again... just some food for thought

Jim, how many reburns have you had to pay for. 9 for me at $105 a pop. Gets expensive real fast. Just something to think about. I have DP tunes and I like them but I am not blind either.

I know I'm a 6.0 guy in a 7.3 forum but the SCT tune that I've run daily for well over a year should be the way every one of these rigs come off the lot. The power I have is insane when I want it, yet the mileage and drive-ability is great when I want it, the shifting is amazing and the rig just runs PERECT.

Okay, okay, easy Howard. I get what your saying. I knew about what they cost when I bought the chip but I didnt plan on reburning it more than a couple times so I wasnt worried. I am not dising TW either.
Anyway I dont want to start an argument with you or anybody so I am just gonna drop it.

As for the original ?, I noticed a big increase in this just going from the Evo. to my DP chip. Shifting and power were greatly increased and mileage is better when I can keep my right foot off the floor.
