Remote start and keyless entry

Purchased '03 PSD 7.3 XLT in Aug.'07. after using the remote start also has remote entry, every thing is good to go. my problem is the next time i go to start, it will not crank, get wait to start light but the dash lights are blinking also radio and interior lights. it seems that if I hold down the brake pedal untill the lights stop blinking it will crank, this works most of the time.don't have any instructions.I think this has something to do with anti-theft.

I would unplug the whole thing or take to an alarm place and have them look at it.

becarefull on unpluging the whole thing, I had one on my old truck and did that and it had a backup that I couldnt find and wouldnt let the motor start, it sucked
