Need new HPOP....

Well i got my truck checked out because of a new oil leak and i need a new hpop. The oil leak is very very slow but will need to be replaced before it lets go. Where is a good place to get them, professionally rebuilt, not bad on cost, etc? I have already looked at dieselorings.com, looks like a great place and good price.

Also, im really surprised it needs replaced. The truck only has 215000 miles on it. Granted i didnt learn until after i bought it that it sat for 1 year only being started once a week but would that make the seals starting going in it? I also just had my turbo pedestal seals replaced.

the adrenaline is a good hpop sold on dieselsite. but their prices have gone up considerably on that unit.
the t-500 pump is pretty much the best deal. its only like 500 bucks and is better than the stock unit which is like 400 lol

Are you sure in needs replaced and not just some new o-rings? They're notorious for leaking oil around the "non-serviceable" plug but bob at dieselorings.com has them and a good write up on guzzles page to replace it. Just a thought before having to fork out $400-500. Granted the upgrade would be nice. Lol.

Yeah, my mechanic knows that guy and i asked him the same question.I woukd like the upgrade because of work. I have noticed that over the last six months the power band seems a lot flatter just above 3000 rpm then it used to be and my power overall seems a little lower.

I would test the hpop before replacing. Its more than likely just the orings or main seal.
If you really need a new hpop, t500 is the best deal you will get imo.
