HID high beam problem

Just installed a set of HIDs and te problem is that only the high beams are on. Even in the regular position my blue light is on on my dashboard. When I pull the lever back or push it forward on the steering console the blue light gets brighter but the headlights do nothing and remain the same. I am baffled. All connection are good and tight. Maybe sand the spot were I put the grounds but if it wasn't properly grounded would it even work???

My guess is the connector thing your normal headlight plug is plugged into is tripping it.

Ok, more than likely what Happened is where the hid kit plugs in to the factory harness the high/low beam wires are swapped... You will need to swap the wires around in the plug from the hid kit that goes to the factory bulbs

I'll try giving that a whirl tomorrow or maybe tonight cause I'm impatient haha. How would you recommend switching them, cutting them a few inches back and splicing them into the other one?

Ok if you look down into the plug on the hid harness that plugs into your factory headlight harness you will see the. 3 metal plugs you can use a small pick and push the clip that holds the wire and pull the whole wire out of the plug so there's no need to cut anything... Pull all 3 out and swap them around until you find the right way

Lowdown89 you are my hero haha. The wires originally went red white blue, swapped them around a few times to blue red white and it works as it should now! Thank you again!!!!

I can't remember the colors but when I got mine from DDM you had to insert the wires for hi/low into their plug. Look at the directions and swap only the 2 wires that are for hi/low.
