Starting issues... I can't figure it out
Two new batteries, cleaned the battery terminals. Truck fires up in the cold perfectly fine. Drive for 30 min starts up fine go to another store try to start it cranks over very slow but starts. Go home sometimes it will crank over fine then other times its very slow. I never had to bang the starter. But when the engine is cold or has been sitting for 2 hours it fires right up??? No idea I'm gunna try cleaning the starter connections when I get time

Your prob sounds like when I have a lil too much timing dialed into my muscle car, but that can't be the case here. The only two things I can think of... your starter motor is showing some wear and doesn't like working warm, or something in the motor is out of tolerance and when it warms up its making metal on metal contact.

I've had starters act like this before on gas burners. That would be my guess.
