need to know

hey guys I'm still learning about these diesels since i've just recently converted. my questions are that i just bought a 99 f-250 with 141,000 miles. should I go ahead and change the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, due to the fact i dont know when it was done last? and what type fuel filter should I by, or should I just get a stock one. Also should I be using any injection cleaner in this rig and if so what kind and how often. For the last question is I would like to try to find out if this truck has had any mods done, I do know that it has a k&n filter in the stock filter box but other than that dont know what to look for. Thanks again and apologize for my stupidity.

no stupidity.......

Yes, i would do all your minor services to be safe, fuel and oil filter, oil change....check the condition of the trans fluid, etc....

as far as mods, just look for ANYTHING that doesnt look stock......and i would dump that K&N in my opinion...paper or ford AIS kit is my opinion, but if you want a high flow kit, go with a better one.....
