What brand Glow plug would you reccommend?

Okay thanks for the reply's. The plugs do not need to be changed yet but I am sure it needs to be done soon.

Bosch or Beru(motorcraft) are the only ones that will hold up. Autolites will die within a year.

The plugs dont need any attention unless they are melted then you have to change the whole UVC harness.

what makes one think the glow plugs need changing???? Check the harnesses 4 burn about it, OH i would recomed ford parts here same price... and peice of mind... Bill

Bosch 80033's can be found on the net for about $100. The plugs don't go bad near as often as the relay.

Is there a way to test the glow plugs to see if they are bad and what relay are you talking about, my truck didn't want to fire on all cylinders this morning 32 degrees, had to try and start it 3 times before it would stay running. I glowed the plugs each time and the truck is turning over plenty fast.Sorry to hijack the thread.
