AIR FILTER HOSE MELTED!!!HELP

Turbo made a strange noise yesterday as if it was surging. Took the boot off and I discovered all this...

What is that green line in there??
Turbo fins seem fine but did move a small amount. Time for a new WW?
What to do about the intake?

Wow big hole. The green line is part of the wastegate solenoid it read pressure differential between the intake and y-pipe to control the wastegate. Is your movement laterally or in and out?

Laterally. Not much but did feel a little bit. I am supposed to drive it a town over to get it aligned tomorrow but I dont even want to start it up because of the intake hose. Of course I need a new hose but if I where you would you order a new pipe from AEM?

Could that green line may have caused the turbo to make a strange noise?

Man I would be really carefull in doing that. I would get a new one as soon as possible as you don't want to be sucking dust and dirt into your turbo or your engine for that matter.

No. What did the noise sound like? Probobly was from the hole in the intake.

Like a sick turbo...dont mean to sound smart but I dont think I could ever make that noise. It was kind of like a bad suction and hissing noise. You know when your trucks real cold and its cold outside and it makes that kkkkkkkk noise. Kinda like that iono
