10k clamp mod

I'm new to diesels and the site, I have a 2000 X 7.3 and I just completed the 10k clamp mod and it did make a big differance in low end response but under hard take off the trans doesn't shift as firm. There is a hesitation between gears, almost like it is slipping. Is there something I'm missing or should add so I don't destroy me tranny? Love the site!

we put a bully dog shift kit in my dads tranny on his 2000 CC LB cause it had a shift hesitation when we installed the programmer on high performance. and it shifted alot firmer and better. what it does is make more line pressure so it shifts faster.
