remote fuel filter?????

ok, so my first question is, is there a way to eliminate the fuel filter on the top of the engine? i want to run a racor or even a fass remote fuel filter.

i was reading an article about those fixed engine fuel filters and someone brought up that there was a remote fuel filter on the frame rail somewhere.

now either i'm blind or my truck isn't fixed for one. my chiltons book is telling me passenger side but another article on here said drivers side inside framerail.

i'm all screwed up.....HELP!!!!

Not on the 7.3 only one fuel filter in the fuel filter housing on the top front of engine. Yes there is kits you can buy to eliminate the filter housing. Here is one Fuel Bowl Delete Kit
