Broken Shifter Tube

I broke my shifter tube in my 2000 F550 today. The part that goes through the steering column and connects to the shift cable that then goes down to the transmission.

Any idea about how to replace it?

Here's a good video on replacing the bushings, but involves the removal of the tube too.

You're sure it's broken? The little plate, at the bottom, didn't just rattle off?

Yep it was broken. See pic.

I checked out the video and started tearing into it. Only took me about an hour or so. I was nervous at first because I thought there were a lot more parts in there, but it wasn't that bad at all.
