trying to find the PCM code...

Today while i was poking around the engine bay of a truck i recently purchased, i found a black box (see photo)... Anyone ever heard of it? Cant really tell a difference when its on figure ill yank it off when the other comes in...

Looks like it came from auto chips direct

Never seen that before. Quick google makes it sound like it is just the resistor mod. If you are going after real tuning will want to get rid of that.

thats what i am thinking.... went to the website they are charging 65 bucks for a $10 mod....

Yep, looks like a resistor mod. If you are interested in some real tuning, I can get you setup.
