Slow Start P1670 code

I have a 2001 Excursion. It has been slow to start like a weak battery. The batteries are 2 years old. The alternator shows a charge. After warming up, it is still slow to start. I just recently got a P1670 code. I have no other codes. Any ideas? What do people mean by loose fuses? If so, which fuse?

Also when you say slow to start do you mean it doens't crank over like it should, or it just takes a while to start?

I just reset the code and it did not come back. I also had the batteries checked and they are good.
On the cranking, it turns over slow and takes longer to light off.

Hmm with new batteries you might have some resistence in the starting circuit I would check all your battery connections make sure they are tight and no corrosion. Also check your connections on the starter. I guess the next step would be to check for voltage drop.

Thanks for the help. I cleaned the battery terminals and it lights off fast. Too much corrosion on the coast.
