chevron delo oil or stay with rotella

orielly's has a sale on their delo 15 40 motor oil. is it any good? just wandering.

yes, delo is a good oil but i wouldn't want to switch back and forth. pick one brand and stay with it

I've used both and my truck seems to prefer the Delo over the Rotella.
Runs a little smoother. Could be all in my head though

Delo, Rotella, Delvac etc etc... it is hard to make a CJ-4 oil that isn't good. Personally I run whatever name brand 15w-40 is on sale that the time during the spring, summer and fall. I run a diesel rated 10w30, usually rotella T5 in the winter.
