middle of coolant flush have some quick questions
well i had to replace the water pump so i am replacing everything while i am at it. new water pump, thermostat, upper and lower hoses and now the coolant flush..
here is my question...i am following the gooch guide that everyone knows about but i have no idea how they got the passenger plug out hidden my the starter..Seems to me it is accessible when you have a lift but i have no idea how to get it out without removing the starter...seems to me that area would be flushed when running the flushing procedures. I am getting ready to hook up the garden hose to the heater line and flush away then going to the distilled water. so it critical i get that one plug out or just an anal retentive procedure which is not really needed when doing a full flush? |

IMHO it isn't critical but if you use a stubby 1/4 drive racket you can get it in there but you kind of have to feel for it IIRC.

I didn't plug the plug. I just did a few tap water flushes to get all the coolant mix out, then 3 or 4 distilled flushes.
I made my Samsung SGH-I997 send this. |
