Quick question...fuel capacity on 01 F250 Crew Cab?

I am trying to find out how much gas my truck can hold. I read somewhere that when you fill with diesel it foams and causes the pump to auto shut off when the tank is not really full. I was just wondering how much gas my truck can hold. The truck is a short bed.

Thought it was 37 or so???

Whatever you do, if you aren't pumping your own fuel, make sure it's someone who knows how to property pump diesel so it doesn't spill all over the side of your rig!

Tank size varies by what modle of truck and what tank it has......tough to tell you what you have for sure because of that..

I definitely don't think it's any bigger than 30 gallons, because it shuts off at like 23-24 gallons usually. The most I have put in is 28. It is just hard to get good feel for how full it is because the diesel foams up. My car takes the same amount of fuel everytime within a few tenths of a gallon.

I Was Under The Assumption That Any Short Bed Sd Had A 28 Gallon Tank Reguardless Of The Cab Configuration. I Know That Mine Is 28 And My Mom Has A Cc Shortbed And Hers Is 28 As Well.
