Alternator upgrade?

I think my alternator may be going bad, going to test it tomorrow when the weather breaks. Anyways if it does test bad, Is there an affordable upgrade available? It looks to me like the best deal i can find is a 185amp for around $250. Otherwise I can find the stock ones on rockauto for around $110 on up. Im thinking a 140amp would probley be suitable for my needs. Only extras i have running on the electrical are the 3 guages on my A pillar, a full size LED lightbar and siren/speaker. Never had a problem the last two years running everything on the stock alternater that i beleive is 110amp. Any suggestions would like to stay around the $200 ballpark. Thanks in advance for any tips/info.

Unless you're running a plow or a trailer with a lot of lights (and by that I mean a freaking ton), the stock alt should be just fine.
