Can someone please explain what the 10k mod does?

it helps boost icp pressure to give you more oil at higher rpms...

Here is a video of the install etc...

Does it make a difference even with a chip?What about the IDM mod have any info on it?

I don't think it will make a difference if you already have a chip but I'm not sure. As for the IDM mod I don't have any info on it but I do know that it is a pretty simple mod.

Yeah I did it with an EVO and didn't notice ANY difference

I did it with my EVO on Xtreme also. I noticed a HUGE difference in the idle, Very strange almost a high idle/surging idle. I also noticed better throttle response, which I like a lot. I think I will leave mine in, I like it. I've heard that the 10k mod has basically the same results as doing the FPR shim. Can someone correct me on that? Is it true?

bumps up the oil pressure at idle...
