Turbo question

I basically stole this turbo yesterday, rebuilt and had a banks wicked wheel for a $150, how could one pass that up right, well heres the problem the impeller housing is too big its a 1.00 a/r and it won't fit because it hits the pedestal, so for a temporary means I swapped out my 1.10 a/r and put it on for the time being. Anybody been able to do this? if I could raise the turbo up about a 1/4" it would work but not sure if you could get a pedestal like that??????

The 1.1 should be a bigger housing so that doesn't make sense that that fits but the 1.0 doesn't.
