High mileage '99 7.3 4x4 CC

Looking at a '99 7.3 4x4 Crew. ~325k. Had a lot of work done on it including, glow plugs, injectors, wiring harness, tranny, transfer case solenoid, brakes, suspension, etc. No pump work and nothing done inside the engine.

He's asking $5.5k. Looks great for the year/mileage. What should I look out for?

I believe the ball joints, etc. have been done. By blow by, do you mean the oil filler test? This guy seems pretty honest. The only leak is the w/p gasket. I'll just replace the w/p itself too.

Na just get idea by pulling the oil fill cap off and seeing how much gas is coming out or u can see if u can set the cap on it and if it blows off it just gives u a ruff idea of how maintained it was. When u do it you will see what I mean other than that just the usually drive it see how it shifts also if u have a code reader u can see if it has any stored codes. But if u think the guy is pretty straight forward u should be ok

Price doesnt seem to far off from what ive seen in my recent search. Make an honest offer, most he'll say is no.

Oh, 1 other comment. Looking at the badging, I believe this is an early 99. PS badge is on the fender, not the door.
