Thinking about bidding on this truck

Would love to know what you think about this truck? Is that price too high??
What would you pay for it? Whats a fair offer?

Thanks

With 168k miles, the price doesnt seem too bad. I wouldnt buy a truck online without having ever seen it and checked it over myself, but thats me. Looks great though!

I buy and sell online often. If you bid and win and go look at it and anything and I mean anything you find wrong isn't listed in the ad, your not held to the purchase. I'd recommend looking first but not always possible. I bought my dullay on eBay without looking first, couldn't be happier.

I actually live in the town (Alvarado, TX) right next to the town (Mansfield, TX) this dealer is in. This place always has really nice trucks and a friend of mine bought his truck from them with great success. You could ask for a video of someone starting it and have them walk around the truck. You could look for smoke at startup and hear it run.

As for purchasing online I bought my truck from Arizona after only seeing videos and pics. Luckily it turned out to be a great buy and a great truck. I couldn't be happier.

It looks like a really nice truck!

Good luck!

I'm a cheap SOB, but in todays market, the asking price for that truck isn't too out of line... It's really clean, judging by the photos, I looked at all of them on the listing.

About 2 years ago, I gave $6500 for my red truck, but it was beat and dinged, had been wreaked and repaired, smoked in, and was stock XLT.

This truck in the listing, is clean, looks to have nice paint and not dents, it's leather, lifted, and has decent tires. You would have $3000 or more in the lift, tires, and wheels alone. Might try to talk them down to $15k, but if you can swing the asking price, and are ready to pull the trigger on a truck like that, go for it. Once it's gone, it's gone, and someone else is braggin' about the nice truck they got.

That price seems a bit high to me. I bought my 99 in 2005 with 109,000 from the original owner for $13,000. My neighbor has a nice newer truck, I think 06, lifted for about that price. If interested, I can grab a pic for ya.
