Lower valance or chin spoiler.
I have noticed that some super duties have a chin spoiler or lower valance on their front bumper. Mine does not have this and I would like on how ever I have been unable to find one. I have seen some f350 like the western hauler conversions that have a styled lower valance or chin spoiler that has a spot for fog lights.
does any one know where I might find one. and yes I have searched Google for one and checked eBay. |

My 03 has the lower valence below the bumper but does not have spots for gof lights ( those are located in the center hole of my bumper)..I was contemplating taking off this piece today seeing has how i just installed an 8" lift on my truck over the weekend. Though it might make the front end look just a little bit taller with the valence gone but after giving it a closer look, that valence piece hides a thick frame bar that connects both sides together....if i remove the valence it will show all that ugliness so i decided to keep it on. lol

Are you talking about something like this?
Xenon Ford F-250 / 350 Super Duty Front Air Dam - AutoTruckToys.com |

Kinda, I would jump all over that if I had a 4x4 but being a 2x4. I don't think it would look that good that close to the ground. I will find a pic of a western hauler and post it in the am.

from the factory, some models had a lower valence, like our Excursion in my sig pic. It does hide a lower bumper reinforcement bar, that mostly just protects the lower edge of the intercooler and radiator. Both my trucks do not have it, so in my opinion, it's kinda optional.

Oh I didnt think he was talking about the factory valance. Alot of trucks have them alot dont. My E99 didnt come with that or fog lights, so I bought some and fitted them to my bumper. Used alot of self-tapping screws

Ford Air Dams/Bumper Covers I found it also on another site also. I was only able to find them thanks to dieselcrawler and his comment about excursions having them.
