can ya help me figure out a clanking i have
well i have a clunk under the truck. I can recreate it consistently on speed bumps. When the front tires hit the speed bump no clank. when coming down the speed bump i hear the clunk and then the back tires hit the speed bump and i hear the clunk right away. Sounds like it is coming from mid to back of the truck. There is nothing obvious under the trunk so trying to figure out where to start. any ideas would be great
thanks gang |

My truck was making a clunking sound. It happened when I would stop and start off. I found a write up about greasing the half shaft on the drive shaft. I did that and no more chunk. Hope this helps.
