Overhead Console Temp
The overhead console ambient air temp readout has been reading -40F for sometime now. It did work, finally got around to replacing it, and the sensor is not mounted on the radiator support, cant be found anywhere.
Is it possible that the Intake air temp sensor could also send the readout to the overhead console? (I did find that one ,Intake air temp, dangling down by the left front shock) 2001 F350 7.3 diesel dually XLT |

Maybe it really is -40F outside.

Mine was reading -40 all the time as well. I found out when I replaced the header panel I think I forgot to plug it back in. I recently took the header panel off and fished out the wire and plugged it in and it now reads fine.

Ok, replaced the Intake Air Sensor, and no change in the temp readout, still reads -40F.
Ill probably run across the location of the correct sensor when looking for something else |

FYI, it was not in the location as shown in the pic, guess it will have to wait until I run across it doing something else.
thanks |
