Excursion GPR

Anyone know why the Excursions GPR is different from the Superduty's? I wanted to do the GPR LED mod and learned that what looked like the GPR on mine is just a IAH relay. My GPR looks like a big silver box behind the IAH relay. Can I just remove the IAH relay? I have already removed the IAH element from the intake.

Any idea how to to the GPR LED mod on the different style relay.

the big silver box is called a "glow plug control module". this is the diagram for a 2002 f350, but it should be the same. an led could be tapped into anyone of the yellow or brown wires. be sure to use a proper resistor with the led you use so you don't burn it up.
