Stuck in NW Minnesota for work through all of winter...
As the title says I'm in North West Minnesota for work through all of winter and maybe longer. It'll start getting in the negative degree temps before to long and was wondering if there is some kind of blanket to put over the engine to help with keeping things a little warmer and also a grill cover. If so where would I be able to find such items?
Thanks in advance. Robert. |

They do make grill covers, might check ebay or something. Other than that plugging it in and switching to at least rotella T6 will help.

Already plug it in every day and night and made the switch to rotella. Haven't noticed much of a difference with the oil though.

A few friends went to N. Dakota last year for work. They would put an electric blanket on the top of the engine. They also make a stick-on heater that goes on the oilpan that you plug in.
