Idk the truck won't start if it's cold not plugged in but I just checked the GPR has 12v going in and turn key on 0 coming out so prob start there right . Thanks guys for getting back to me quick I just joined today best thing I've ever done I have a 99 that I asked 3 questions on today and this has been a huge help the 03 is my friends truck just asking for him thanks again

Sounds like your relay is bad.

Read here if you haven't already. It's the first thing I did here...

That box is the Glow Plug Control Module(GPCM). It controls the glow plugs just like a relay would. If your truck has a GPCM you do not have a glow plug relay. The GPCM takes place of the relay. They put it on California model Super Duty trucks and Excursions. Ford did it to try to cut down emissions.

Also the relay in front of the GPCM witch we thought was the GPR I guess is the intake heater we put a new one in but it still has 12v coming in and 0 out how do you test that relay

I believe they are around $170 from Ford. Are you sure that is your problem though? Are you getting any glow plug codes?

With the GPCM, a code will be thrown if there is a fault in the glow plug system.
