Transmission question

Hello guys I am looking for a manual transmission for my 2000 f250 7.3 but i wanna look for the right one. I was told they came with a zf6 but then i was told a zf5 could someone set this straight for me? Also what do they go for and how hard are parts to find for the swap?

94-97=ZF-5
99-03=ZF-6

You could use either as long as they came off a 7.3. The ZF-6 will require a different floor pan. You will need the PCM, driveshafts and a bunch of other stuff, plenty of threads if you search.

best option is find/buy a donar truck, wrecked/rolled, that will have all the parts there you will need... little things like brackets and cooler lines, pedals, steering column, etc are nice to have there, and if you can, chop up the floor to gett the floor pan/trans tunnel to swap over.
