Help me decide

I posted this in the general forum, but no responses, so i figured I would try here.

OK, guys. I have been out of the game for awhile, so I have decided to get another diesel. Due to what I can afford, I decided to get a 7.3 and have narrowed it down to 2 different trucks. This is where I need your help deciding.

Truck #1 - 2001 F250 Supercab 4x4 213000 miles, guages, Banks add-on kit, exhaust and intercooler- turbo- and trans- module, but no programmer. $9500

Truck #2 - 2002 F250 Supercab 4x4 270000 miles, bone stock. $7500

Number 1 I could throw in a programmer and be done, but its 2k more, but I keep looking at the banks add on stuff. Number 2, save some money and throw it in the programmer exhaust and maybe lift and tires?

i would go with option 2.... just because option 1 doesnt have a programmer now doesnt mean it didnt have one before....

you could do exhaust, intake, and chip for about 1k....

What part of the country are you in? Both prices seem high to me.

I'm just basing it on my recent experience. I just bought my truck. I'm in CA...I figured we'd have the highest prices, as it is with most things.

It is all about supply and demand. I found that you could often find 6.0s for less than a nice 7.3l. P

I'd probably go for the stock one, if overall condition between the two is otherwise equal.

Option 2 you don't know if the other one had a programming. I'm gonna guess it did. Also where I am. (Western new york) those are amazing prices. For $7500 all you can find are mid 90s rotted cummins even for $9500 your buying a rust bucket i lucked out and bought mind down south $9000 with shippings for a 01 f350 dually 201000 lariat in very good condition this truck would sepl up here for $14000 all day
