Question Tire size?

I own a 2002 PSD 7.3 and want to buy new tires. It has the 2.5" leveling kit and was wondering what is the biggest tire i can go with minor cutting if necessary?

Stock rims? I wouldn't go bigger than a 285/75/16. Aftermarket rims? 315/75/16 or any other 35" tire. Some guys run 315s on stock rims, but I think they wear out in the center too fast on stock wheels.
