Electric transfer case, in 2002 f250 7.3 / bronco
Ok, hello! I have a bronco with a f250 swap, axels drive shafts tranny, t-case, engine, computer ect.
Any way!! It has a electric t-case nv273, and that requires the electric actuator. The bronco has the manual stick 4x4 stick. So how would i instal the eletric actuator and connect it up to the computer or a switch??? Or just plainly how would you install the actuator anyway. Thanks guys. does the manual transfer case bolt up to the tranny? Last edited by Johnny1; 11-14-2012 at 08:15 PM. |

A manual transfer case will bolt up to the tranny as long as you have it for the correct transmission auto/manual. The output shafts are different between the auto and manual trans. The bolt patterns are the same. I dot really have any advice for hooking up the actuator wiring, I could dig through some wiring diagrams for some info but can't do it anytime real soon. The actuator itself mounts directly on the transfer case so if its missing it should be easy to install when you get it.
