If I remove leveling kit?
If I remove this leveling kit from my f-250 what all would I have to change? I know I would have to lower the rear also.

Why would you want to remove it in the first place?
But I don't think you'd have to change anything. Just remove the springs and down the road you go. The only thing might be the u-bolts will be too long and may have to be trimmed. Sent from my iPhone using Autoguide.com App |

I would really just take out about half of the extra springs if that is possible. It rides kinda rough but no big deal. Just going to pull a dump trailer and a flatbed with it. I have two trucks that I pull with and it would be easier and cheapest to lower the ford than to buy extra hitches. Thanks.

You tow, but you are going to take away from the ability to handle the load by removing springs? Assuming you already have the receiver on the truck, just buy the inserts needed for your trailers if the 2 trucks you tow with are diffrent hights... it's a better option in the long run.

I would have to buy drop hitches, all my hitches are straight ones and are heavy duty. I tow a dump trailer that uses a 2 an 5/16 ball, a flat bed that I haul a 3000 ford diesel tractor with a 6 foot bushog on it(2" ball) and a wimpy lawnmower trailer with a 1 7/8 ball. Dam truck is just to tall.

The leveling kit is only in the front. So you would still need the drop hitches

Dropping the front (only mod during a level kit install) is going to raise your rear end up. I have an adjustable hitch which is rated for 10k#. I'm looking for a leveling kit to drop my rear and bump up the front to clear tires with a plow on.

ya taking the leveling kit off the front wont change the back. unless you put a 350 block in the back in stead of the 250 block when you did the leveling kit.
and if you did that the 350 block is only an inch taller than the 250 one. |
