2000 Excursion 7.3 Vibration Issues
Replaced tires with Michelin m/s2 load range e green x it says 7ply (stock size 16s)... My truck does fine until you get above 75mph then it start vibrating the whole truck. I jacked it up tonight in the rear and had a buddy run it up and the drive train seems fine. I checked the u-joints they have very little play could the A-Arm bushings be causing this or could it be bad new tires or possibly could these tires need more ply to handle the weight at a speed higher than 70mph?

Rotate the tires and see if the vibe moves. If so, head back to the shop.

I agreed with turbostang500. I work at tire place. Make sure they check the balance again. They shouldn't charge u anything.

Well when I first got the tires I had to take them back 3times that day because they couldn't balance out right .... then I had them road force tested and the guy said I had a few bent rims so I bought new rims and even with new rims it got better but now vibrates at 75 plus I just had them balanced 3 weeks ago and rotated but I will take them back and do it again just for good measure and let ya know...

Ok, maybe that isnt the problem but still might be.
First, can you describe the vibe as fast, slow, front, rear, pulsing? |

Universal joints should have zero play.
