Speedo sensor location
So I believe my speedo sensor went out as everywhere I go I'm doing 100+. Even sitting still!! Lol. But where is this sensor located? I have a new one on order that should be here today.

|
The VSS is located on the rear axle. The ABS and auto transmission rely on speed data from the sensor so if your not having issues, it may be the cluster or wiring.

No abs light. Manual transmission if that matters.

Jack up the rear, hook up a oscilloscope to the VSS and watch the wave while you get the truck up to speed. If it is moving smoothly compared to the cluster then replace the cluster.
