Weird dinging while driving

Driving home from work this morning my truck started to randomly ding. Everything seems normal tho. Oil temp,engine temp, voltage output. Also no loss of power and the trans is shifting fine.

It will ding 10 or 15 times 3 seconds between dings, then stop for 5 to 10 mins the start again.

Has anyone else had this problem or can any one make a quick diagnoses on what it might be

Does the airbag light in the gauge cluster light up when you first turn the truck on?

yes, the airbag light comes on when i start the truck. Im gonna check fuses today since I know i have a couple dead ones. hopefully that will fix it

There's only two things that I know of which will cause the truck to ding while driving... one is if the ebrake is on, the other is if there is an airbag fault and the light is inop.

Is there anyway that the ebrake could be released it still think its on? The cluster light for it is off but I used it the other day before it started. I also set the ebrake earlier today and put in drive and throttled untill it was trying to move to get it do do it since it doesnt do it and park and couldnt get it to do it. Then driving to my union meeting tonight aprox 2 miles from the house it did it again.

my dad has an 01 Reg Cab, it does the same exact thing. His has been doing it for atleast a year now.. I guess he doesnt mind it but i hate it.. interested to find out what it is....

seat belt perhaps,we have 2 trucks at work that do that there 2006 f350 models

Its not the seat belt. Tomorrow I might pick it up with the loaders so the tires can spin and try to track it down.

Mine has dinged while in warm up mode and i have even seen my speedo gear bounce with the dinging. My speedo will bounce when i am driving it but with no dings. i don't know what it is some grounded wire somewhere giving power to the speedo and the dinging sound.

I dont know if this will solve any one elses problem but my dinging issuse is coming from relay 1 on the interior fuse panel. Replaced it and so far so good I'll give it a couple days before I know for sure.
