Was going to get new headlamps, but no needy to now!!

After the rear main scare I had this morning, Was so happy it wasn't, that I decided to compound and wax her up (had the day off) Well while compounding out the paint, I had been noticing that my original headlights where badly yellowed instead of clear...So I said to myself what the heck! they couldn't get any worse!! So I took the turtle wax polishing compound I was using and scrubbed the heck out of one headlights with some...And WOW I couldn't believe it! Looked almost new again, so I did the other one also.....I paid $2.50 for the compound vrs $250.00 for replacement headlights.(or $25.00 for a headlight cleaning kit)
I just wanted to post this up just encase someone out there has some badly yellowed headlamps and wants to clean them up without spending alot of $$$ replacing them....Just FYI
