Mystery wires under cowl of F250
Hey guys I have a 2002 F250 7.3 XLT. I was doing the LED GPR mod and noticed 5 wires right at the cowl of my truck where the harness splits for the hood light. They have heat shrink on the ends and are different solid colors. They look exactly like the wires for upfitter switches on trucks that come equipped with them. The only thing, my truck has no extra switches of any kind from the factory. These are Ford wires and not an aftermarket deal. Just curious as to what these could be?

![]() Look like this? If so, they're basically a factory setup to run accessories through the firewall. You should have another end under the dash.. I had the same question a little while back. Sent from my DROIDX using AutoGuide.Com Free App |
