How many 7.3's sold in 2003?

Anybody know how many 6.0 and 7.3 pickups sold in 2003?

It seems very hard to find any 2003 7.3's, they all seem to be 6.0's.

From what I hear, there would have been a huge demand for 7.3's if they knew then what they know now.

Thanks.

For all you 6.0 haters. I got the 6.0 with 136K and the best stock turbo out there. Im a fleet diesel mechanic for 20yrs and we have 4 7.3 that all broke 450K miles before replacing motors. We also have 2 6.0s and the 6.0 hands down will walk away from the 7.3s PERIOD! As we speak my fleet 6.0s have around the 270k range and the 5 spd auto trannys are lasting alot longer...

2003 7.3L Haa haa

I went out of my way to locate one and I am glad I did. My buddy had a host of repairs and Ford eventually bought it back and sold him another. I would have walked at that point and told them to keep it.

I am sure the problem has been fixed, but you have to admire the low end torque and the fact it is scrubber/egr free.

I dont drag so the 1/4 doesnt do squat for me...
If I had to choose between a 6.0 and a old school cummins...I would choose the cummins. IMHO of course

THE 6.0 MAY BE FASTER BUT I GARANTEE IF YOU ASK AROUND THE 6.0 GUYS HAVE HAD WAY MORE PROBLEMS THE 7.3 GUYS. MY DADS 6.0 POPPED THE HEAD GASKET WITH ONLY 30000 MILES AND ITS AN 05 HE HARDLY EVER PULLS A TRAILER AND ITS ALL STOCK WHATS UP WITH THAT. THE 7.3 IS TH ULTIMATE WORKHORSE MOTOR IF PROPERLY MAINTAINED
