LOCKOUT HELP

My 02 has the manual lock-out hubs. Does anyone know which way is locked? I turned them both ways and it didn't matter. Wondering if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks ahead of time!

So should I turn them to the left and run them that way all the time?

Do you have the dash switch or the floor shift? Left is auto or unlock right is lock

if you turn the hubs and you hear/feel it "click" that's in the "free position"... if you turn it and you don't feel anything then they're in the "locked position"

Left is auto, but you may have to pull them off and clean them up. Mine didn't want to unlock after I had locked them from the dash.
