My power window glass fell off the track not too long ago. I thought I had it fixed, but it popped out again this morning. I've had this door apart time & time again for door lock actuators, speakers, etc., & I noticed there's some sort of silicone or epoxy on the 2 brackets that hold the window up. This is my problem. What kind of epoxy/silicone/glue do I need to remedy this?

I had my door apart not too long ago because the window was binding as it went down, so I lubed up the tracks. But if my memory serve me right, it's there clamps that hold the window in?? That silicon might just be a protective layer fot the glass.

After trying to tighten the 2 clamps that hold the window in, sometimes the glass still falls out of the track. I'm under the impression now that the silicone is definitely holding the glass to the clamps.

It is some thpe of glue. When it happened to my friends truck we only had jb weld. Slop it on and roll window up and use that pressure to set the epoxy. A year later and its still good.
