Dipstick stuck!
Well fellas, a couple months ago I had my tensioner pulley go out. The belt flailing around caused my ac clutch magnet to get damaged and ripped the upper plastic part off of the dipstick. Got the ac clutch fixed, but still haven't fixed the dipstick.
Changed the oil today, and when trying to remove the dipstick with a set of long thin needlenose pliers all I managed to do was push the dipstick in further. Any ideas to remove that sucker? Once I get it out all I need is a new roll pin to reattach the metal dipstick to the plastic t handle part. Thanks. |

not 100% sure but i believe there is just 1 bolt holding the tube in place, you should be able to remove that bolt, pull the tube out and retrieve your dipstick.

Do you know if the base of the tube is below the oil level?
